I love this garage. Not the cheapest, but the work quality is top notch, and any issues I have with their work or service has always been resolved painlessly. I get the impression they would rather have a loyal customer for years than have a cash grab once or twice.
I dropped my car off at the Henrietta location for some collision repair work on Tuesday. They were extremely helpful with everything, including calling to arrange my rental car. I have had other service and repair work done there and I've always been very satisfied with the results. Gates looks out for my best interest rather than the insurance company's, in my opinion.
Unfortunately I have had my car breakdown twice in the past month or so and today I brought my car in to preempt a problem. Fortunately Gates Automotive towed me twice and didn't leave me stranded. They took me in and fixed my car immediately with out an appointment. They could have taken advantage of me the stranded motorist (like most auto repair places do), and fixed things that didn't need fixing and they could have charged me a lot of money that they didn't. Their pricing is fair and there is no BS! I spent two full days in their nice air conditioned lobby enjoying their wireless internet and vending machines. They even drove me home when I needed to leave the car over night.They have been nothing but professional, accommodating, and helpful. They are the best and I highly recommend them!
