First of all, the vehicle was seemingly ready for pick up in the morning (Lehigh Station, Hertz) and when I got in it, there was dirt and leaves on the ground. I said to my husband, "this car hasnt been cleaned?!" We put our stuff in the trunk and there was the former person's rental agreement and random items of trash.
Finally, when I looked at my receipt when I got home, I realized there was an $18 Additional Charge. When I called, the man said, "that was for having an additional driver, I think I told you that." No, he didn't. I am perfectly capable of driving my own car and if I knew that I wouldn't have added my husband.
We started driving and noticed it had a strong, strange odor that we werent sure why, but later realized it covered up the smell of cigarette smoke. The next morning, the smell was so strong of cigarette smoke. We found ourselves having to drive the whole time with the windows cracked to cover up one smell or the other!
I travel all over and use many rental car places. You better believe, I will not be using this place again.
The customer service at Hertz, Lehigh Station is outstanding! Jaylen is really on top of things--offering friendly, quick and professional service to meet all of our rental needs. Even though there are other rental agencies in the area, he has made renting with Hertz a breeze, and the prices are competitive too. Keep up the good work Jaylen! Ive bought two cars from hertz and they charged me $20 for bringing the car back an hour late. Which i was not even told what time I had to have it back by. And, they didn't even tell me they were charging me. They told me they weren't and then I get Home and the receipt was emailed to me and they had charged me. Don't go to this location.
It takes me less than 3 minutes to get my vehicle.
